10am-Diocesan Labor Day Mass

Come join in remembering Labor Day and our special focus on hospital and health-care workers.  Msgr. Joseph Kerrigan will preside.  Rev. Tab Chukunta from St. Peter’s University Hospital will speak.

At the Mass, there will also be a sendoff for representatives of the Catholic Charities Solidarity Team who will be traveling to the Philippines later that evening for our first diocesan visit to the Typhoon Haiyan region.

Collection at the Mass will be for the benefit of the Metuchen Diocese’s Typhoon Haiyan long-term recovery efforts.  We are focusing on permanent housing and livelihood restoration.  To learn more, go to: http://ccsolidarity.org/haiyan-response.
