On Friday, March 11, Holy Family Parish at Sacred Heart Church will host Rev. PJ Craig, for an evening mini-retreat in the hall at Sacred Heart, 56 Throop Ave. All are welcome.

Rev. Peggy Jean “PJ” Craig is the Executive Director of the Advocate Center for Culture and Education. PJ has worked in a variety of different secular and faith-based contexts.  Before coming to the Advocate, she worked at Catholic Relief Services.  As a missionary and youth director, she worked with you in Laos, Alabama, and Atlanta.  In Washington, she worked for the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the United Methodist General Board of Church and Society.  PJ’s educational experience includes teaching preschool in the Alabama, teaching middle school English in Laos, and running an after school program in Camden, NJ.  She is currently working on her PhD in Community Development-Public Affairs from Rutgers University-Camden, and she received her M.Div. from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University  with a concentration in church and community leadership.  Her undergraduate degree is from Fordham University in communications and media studies with a concentration in journalism.
