Simbang Gabi flyer

Make a sacrifice to prepare for the new-born King by joining us for this special series of Masses. This pre-dawn Mass comes to Holy Family Parish (St. Ladislaus Church) at 5:30am on the mornings from Dec. 16-22.  Parish clergy will preside at these special liturgies.  Ample parking available on street or in parish lot behind the church.

This “MIsa de Gallo” is part of the Filipino tradition of Simbang Gabi, a way to prepare for Christmas originally brought to the Philippines by the Spanish missionaries.  The Masses on these days are celebrated as solemn votive Masses in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

No matter your tradition or ethnicity, this series of Masses can be a great help to your spiritual practice as you ready for Christmas.
